Our inspiration for Fair and Square Home Services, Inc., and our model for pride in workmanship, attention to detail, and a great sense of humor and attitude, is George C. Davis--a wonderful father, grandfather, and great grandfather. George taught himself how to work with wood, and created amazing desks, unique beds, cabinets, tables, shelves, lamps, toys and knickknacks throughout his lifetime. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 85 for more than 50 years, and worked for such local Atlanta companies as GR Booth, BHW, McKenney’s, Kenith, and Knox. He also worked in the Mobile, AL shipyards in WWII. He served as a Little League baseball coach and official for his two sons, and as a participating member of Morrow Methodist Church for 30 years. Along with his wife, Irene McGiboney Davis, whom he married June 27, 1942, he was always self-reliant, and giving and supportive of his family and friends. Through Fair and Square Home Services, we will always use his life as an example of how to work with integrity, focus on quality, and treat customers with respect.
